History

The story of ESS Home Theater begins in the 1970’s way before the home theater trend caught on. Founder, Don Coords, was moving his way up from working in the security industry and on the course to building his own business specializing in security products and alarm monitoring. The 1980’s saw the founding of Beltron Security and the 1990’s brought a huge expansion of business and a name change to Electronic Systems and Services, Inc. With clients asking for more in the realm of audio visual products, operations grew to include audio video sales and installation. It was at this point Mr. Coords was prompted to ponder the next big step for the company and ESS Home Theater was founded in 2002. In recent years, operations have expanded across the entire state of New Jersey and as far as Ohio. While we still provide high-quality security systems, our services now encompass a wider array of needs including surveillance, home theater, audio, access control systems and networking services for residential, commercial and MDU applications.
